"You'd better start saving for this boat when we get back," you told Julian. Maybe ... five minutes ago? Not that time passed in this realm, but you found yourself ... drifting. Floating away from the chaos of fighting sea monsters, roasting goats, and risking death. Visions swirled into your dreams. A sister searching the seas for her brother. A pair of children washing ashore. A rowdy crew playing cards and a vielle, overhead. A ship's cat pawing (before bounding off after a squawky raven) at your cabin door. Sometimes, you could even hear the brother pacing below deck or flipping through the ship's log. You would have read a map with him, but you what you really needed ... was ... zzzzzzzzzzzz ...
