Lower Record Vaults
The upper Citadel glitters with pearl and coral splendor, but the vaults beneath it are built from dark stone older than the current ruling dynasties. Tiny lantern fish drift lazily between towering archive stacks while exhausted clerks move silently through the aisles carrying bundles of records no one important wishes to think about.
