A Visitor in the Night
After a long day's journey, you build a fire to warm you against the wind. There is no looking back now, you must keep running. Tonight you are safe from your enemies, but not from the demons within.
As you begin to doze off before the fire, a dark figure emerges from the shadows to share you fire. You converse, but you can't seem to remember what you speak of, even as the words leave your mouth. You feel a darkness rising from deep inside you.
